The complex, multi-structured society of wild horses and its changes have been studied using high-resolution aerial imagery by Hungarian researchers, including specialists from the University of Debrecen, in a recently finished multi-year study. The results were recently published in the prestigious international scientific journal Nature Communications.

During the one month of the event close to a hundred students obtained their certificates at the Summer University of Debrecen, 52 in the first two weeks, and 43 after the second one. Most of them completed a written examination, but oral exams were also available.

From September, more than 7,300 students are expected to study in the University of Debrecen's English-language courses, the largest student community in Central and Eastern Europe. The renovation and expansion of the University of Debrecen's Faculty of Science and Technology has begun. The aim of the modernisation of the educational unit in Ótemető Street is to provide the DE with the highest level of infrastructure for the practical and theoretical education of technical engineers, in line with the city's leading role in the automotive industry.
