UD YouMed, the private healthcare provider of the University of Debrecen, has entered into a strategic agreement with AFG Steel Construction and Chemistry Kft., the Hungarian subsidiary of Assan Panel, a prominent international player in the construction industry. Under the newly signed agreement, UD YouMed will provide comprehensive healthcare services to the company’s employees in Hungary.

The new building of National Manufacturing, Research and Education Center of the Faculty of Pharmacy, recently inaugurated in Vezér Street Industrial Park of the University of Debrecen, is now available for both education and pharmaceutical research and manufacturing. The three-floor, almost 7,000 square-meter, complex was built in one year at the cost of roughly HUF 12 billion.
Zoltán Mészár, lecturer of the Department of Anatomy, Histology and Embryology of the Faculty of Medicine won first prize as a member of an international team in the NeurotechEU Hackathon competition in Stockholm.
