Altogether, there were five victims of the August coach accident on the M3 motorway treated at the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology of the Clinical Centre at the University of Debrecen. Several of these injured victims required actual surgery, during which specialists in Debrecen operated on them for injuries including femoral fractures and vertebral fractures. Within a couple of days following the accident, all the injured patients were able to leave the clinic to have their treatment continued in Poland.
