On Saturday, Debrecen University held this year’s traditional doctoral and honorary doctoral ceremony . At the event, 91 doctoral candidates were awarded their diplomas; in addition, honorary doctorates, habilitated doctorates, professor emeritus titles and university honors were also awarded.
The English-American Institute of the University of Debrecen hosted the 2019 Conference of the Hungarian Society of Americanists from May 31 to June 1. The event was attended by a large delegation from the United States of America, along with some 100 Hungarian Americanists.
