It is a long-standing tradition that the faculties organize their graduation ceremony in the Cour d’Honneur (Díszudvar) of the Main Building, the only exception being the Faculty of Music, where 70 graduates will say goodbye to their alma mater with a musical concert in the Liszt Hall at 2pm. Saturday, June 17.
The series of celebrations held in the Cour d’Honneur of the Main Building begins on Friday, June 23, with the graduation ceremony of the General Faculty of Medicine.
Most students, 780, have graduated from the Faculty of Economic Science, followed by 600 from the Faculty of Arts, 440 from the Faculty of Engineering, and 400 from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology.
Relatives, friends, and acquaintances can watch the graduation ceremonies remotely, the occasions – except for the Faculty of Music - will be broadcast live again this year by the Multimedia and E-learning Technical Center of the University of Debrecen on the YouTube page of the University of Debrecen.
During the celebrations in the Main Building, a children’s room will be available on the ground floor this time, too, where the youngest children can be cared for in a cultured environment with the help of the staff of the Mental Health and Equality Center.
Important information for those arriving by car is that parking on the University Square campus will be free of charge during the graduation ceremonies.
