The University of Debrecen has moved forward from the 35th to the 31st position in the Quacquarelli Symonds world rankings. The most recent list of universities in European and Central Asian countries under the title Emerging Europe and Central Asia (EECA) was published this past Wednesday.

Foreign students of the University of Debrecen presented their traditional clothing and folk dances at a gala evening on 26 October, which was part of the series of events that commemorates the 100-year tradition of medical education at UD.

The Communication University of China (CUC, Beijing) and the University of Debrecen have signed a cooperation agreement. It will facilitate student and researcher exchange programmes in the field of media science.
