Researchers from the University of Debrecen participate in the international project preparing a volume on the status of the Roma minority in Europe.

Éric Fournier, Ambassador of France to Hungary, awarded Péter Bay, associate professor at the Department of Medical Chemistry of the University of Debrecen, the title of Knight of the Order of Academic Palms (Ordre des Palmes Académiques) of the French Republic.

Seventy-one would-be physicians took their oaths on Saturday at the graduation ceremony of the University of Debrecen. Two Hungarian and two international students received their diplomas with summa cum laud grades.
