Researchers at the University of Debrecen have developed several new methods in order to reduce the amount of greenhouse gases including and similar to ammonia and methane produced on livestock farms. The complex, multi-structured society of wild horses and its changes have been studied using high-resolution aerial imagery by Hungarian researchers, including specialists from the University of Debrecen, in a recently finished multi-year study. The results were recently published in the prestigious international scientific journal Nature Communications.

The two guests from the United States received a comprehensive introduction to the university’s agricultural education and research structure on the occasion of the launch of a dual degree program in precision agriculture engineering in Debrecen in September of this year.
