The cooperation agreement between the Botanical Garden of the University of Debrecen and Hortobágy National Park has been renewed. From now on, the garden located at the edge of the Great Forest will not only help the national park with the preservation, propagation and replantation of endangered or extinct protected plants, but it will also plan and perform the aftercare and follow-up of the replanted plants.

A joint exhibition of the University and National Library of the University of Debrecen (DEENK) as well as the Event Coordination and Alumni Centre present the processes of the shaping of the Main Building of UD in close to fifty spectacular photos. The photographs on display on panels and installations on all floors of the university show the construction in an interactive way.

The University and National Library of the University of Debrecen (DEENK) is staging an international online project between 11 and 15 July, as the Hungarian contributor in addition to Holland, Spain, and Germany with a focus on the development of digital skills necessary for data management.

An English-language series of publications has been launched jointly by IEAS (Institute of English and American Studies) of the Faculty of Humanities at UD and DUPress (Debrecen University Press). The University of Debrecen has joined the position of the National Research, Development and Innovation Office (NRDIO) on Open Science. The Certificate of Participation was handed over to rector Zoltán Szilvássy by István Szabó, vice president of NRDIO on Wednesday.

Institute of History UD has recently received a prestigious series of books compiled and written on the history of the Catholic religious order named Deutscher Orden, also known as the Teutonic Order.

House, M.D., Elliot Reid, M.D., Cristina Yang, M.D., Dr. Bones, and Dr. Strange, the latter well-known from the Marvel universe - the personal belongings of these imaginary patrons and movie characters make the five new study rooms of the Life Sciences Library (LSL) unique.

The University and National Library of UD awaits visitors with an upgraded environment and technical background, although with certain restrictions due to the pandemic.
