Campus Eleven To Replace Campus Festival This Year

Campus Festival will turn into Campus Eleven this year. Due to the epidemic, organisers decided that the 4-day-long festival will be replaced by a series of events over a period of 11 nights, called Campus Eleven. The events will take place at the usual venues.

The Corona virus re-shaped the festival season. For example, the 13th Campus Festival will turn into a major series of programmes. As usual, events will take place around the Nagyerdei Víztorony and the Nagyerdei Stadium between 19 August and 19 September. The central areas will be the event area next to the stadium and the green area between the HALL and the Nagyerdei Víztorony.

The list of bands and performers includes Punnany Massif, Rúzsa Magdolna, Majka & Curtis, Vad Fruttik, Kowalsky meg a Vega, the Honeybeast, Wellhello, Horváth Tamás, Follow The Flow and Halott pénz.

- With Campus Eleven, our goal has been to offer festival-goers an alternative – said Péter Miklósvölgyi , festival manager.

He explained that the programme schedule and the map of venues have already been finalised. In addition to the concerts, various programmes, a lampion area, a beer garden and a gastro court will await visitors.

- We are confident that as soon as the virus threat has gone, we can provide the same festival feeling as usual – added the manager.

Eleven nights with more than 150 concerts; the detailed programme is available at the Facebook page of the event series. All tickets bought in advance for the Campus Festival are valid for the events of Campus Eleven. With a pass, visitors can even attend yoUDay 2020, the spectacular semester-opening stadium show of the University of Debrecen.
