Beijing LINEMILES Technology Co. Ltd., a company with extensive network contacts in the Chinese technology sector, a broad industrial expertise and project development consulting experience, signed the above framework agreement with the University of Debrecen, setting out the details of their cooperation.
For a common goal, the signatories identified the promotion of scientific-scholarly cooperation opportunities between the University of Debrecen and Chinese institutions of higher education, as well as the promotion of competitiveness, R&D and innovation for the university's start-up and spin-off ecosystem.
This new partnership will also include support for the development and implementation of Hungarian-Chinese collaborative projects in the industrial development areas of the University of Debrecen, covering the fields of green energy, the automotive industry, energy storage, agriculture, the food industry, functional foods, medicine and pharmaceuticals, traditional Chinese medicine, the construction industry, logistics, tourism, IT and electronics, to name a few.In addition to the above features, the agreement also aims at representing Chinese innovative and smart technologies in the framework of the innovation projects of the University of Debrecen and supporting their introduction to the marketplace.
The meeting for discussing the details of the cooperation and the signing of the strategic partnership agreement was also attended by Imre Ujvári, the Mayor of the settlement Tiszafüred. Following the meeting in the Main Building, the Chinese delegation paid a visit to our University's Science, Technology and Innovation Park next to Vezér utca, as well as to the nearby Vehicle Laboratory and Innovation Center.
