Hírek Erasmus, mobility program címkével

It is for the 20th time that the International Relations Committee of the Student Government opened the gate wide for students of the University of Debrecen. The slogan of this year’s Mobility Fair, “Take the First Step”, is not accidental.

Foreign students who arrived for the autumn semester were greeted with traditional Hungarian food and drinks, as well as with a folk dance show at UD on Friday.

Teachers and workers of the Debrecen Summer School (Nyári Egyetem) undergo regular training. Some have recently gained some experience abroad, which they can later use in their work.

Flavors of homemade delicacies and dance-house music was on the agenda at the welcoming party hosted by the University of Debrecen for the 130 international students in this semester. This year, the largest number amongst them came from Turkey, Poland, Germany, and Portugal.

A “Mobility Breakfast” was offered on Tuesday to students curious about mobility opportunities in the Main Building of the University of Debrecen. Erasmus+ and Campus Mundi scholarships now can be used for the purposes of getting virtually anywhere in the world during the university program.

Student mobility, an important element of the process of internationalizing higher education, was the central theme of a conference held at the University of Debrecen. An important announcement was also made at this event concerning the government plan of refunding the cost of second language exam.

An agreement on cooperating with one of the most prestigious universities in China has been signed at the UD. The members of the delegation from Asia discussed issues of student and staff mobility as well as the preparation of joint research projects at the meeting that took place at UD on November.

A delegation of more than twenty members have visited the University of Debrecen within the framework of an international program established with the aim of improving the quality of higher education in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Colourful bustle, mobility opportunities and charity programs awaited the students of the University of Debrecen and secondary school students at this year’s International Event at the Great Forest Water tower.

Multicultural cookie corner, information stands and presentations awaited interested participants at the event jointly organised by the University of Debrecen and Tempus Public Foundation. Erasmus, Europe’s largest student exchange programmes is 30 years old this year.

The fall semester began with informative lectures and programmes on mobility opportunities at the University of Debrecen.

Incoming international students have been given a genuine Hungarian dinner-party and dance-house experience at the University of Debrecen.

A record number of Erasmus students have arrived at the University of Debrecen for the fall semester and they have been greeted and received at our institution with a variety of social and informative functions and presentations.

Students, faculty and staff members can also use the Erasmus+, and the Campus Mundi scholarship programmes to travel abroad.
