16 students of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of the University of Nagyvárad visited the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Debrecen (DE GYTK) as part of the second Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program (BIP). The Partium students had enriched their knowledge by attending online scientific lectures on pharmaceutical technology, also partly given by experts from the University of Debrecen before they arrived at the University of the „Civic „ city led by Tünde, Jurca, and Annamária Pallag, two lecturers of the University of Oradea (Nagyvárad).
The employees of the DE GYTK Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Oradea (Nagyvárad) students were able to take part in interactive professional five-day-long sessions organized by Ágota Pető, Dóra Kósa and Liza Józsa. They gained insight into the various formulation technologies (capsules, tablets, etc.), innovative nanoparticles and the manufacturing of biocosmetics, which they could take home with them after the end of the program.
- Establishing and maintaining international relations is extremely important to the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Debrecen. The scientific cooperation between the University of Oradea and the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology of the University of Debrecen has been going on for more than ten years, due to the head of the department Mrs. Ildikó Bácskay, Pálma Fehér, assistant professor at DE GYTK and main organizer of the program, said.
The staff of the DE GYTK Department of Pharmaceutical Technology would like to see Oradea (Nagyvárad) students visit Debrecen regularly. It is also planned that pharmacy students from the University of Debrecen will visit the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Oradea as part of the BIP program next year.
