At the event, organised jointly by the Institute of Germanic Studies of UD and the German Cultural Forum in Debrecen, people interested can collect information in Hungarian and in English, and one-on-one consultation will also available for those interested in the German language or willing to test themselves in a native German language environment.
German is becoming increasingly important in the education of health-care professionals. Another sector offering career opportunities for German-speaking people is business services: companies operating in Debrecen encourage students to learn German as a second foreign language in addition to English – said the organisers to hirek.unideb.hu.
Students attending the Business Services Basics course of the Faculties of Humanities and Economics can learn about the value-creating activities of the sector from September. Students can collect useful information on the Day of the German Language as well.
Participants will hear about universities abroad, the scholarships of Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst (DAAD), Österreichisches Austausch Dienst (ÖAD) and Erasmus, the Fernuniversitat in Hagen, the Goethe language certificate offered by the German Cultural Centre and the Austrian Language Certificate.
In Room 129 of the Main Building visitors can gain information on German studies, language certificates and foreign scholarships in Hungarian from 12:00 and in English from 13:30. From 15:00 one-on-one consultations will be available.
