Best of yoUDay 2026: video clips of the most spectacular entrées of the show

A truly memorable experience for the nearly 22,000 spectators at this year’s stadium show was entrée of the university’s wind ensemble. called Marching Band, as it made its way to the stage from the stands, marching around the arena floor. A similarly heartwarming moment of the night was the procession of more than a hundred international students carrying the flags of their respective countries. All eyes at Nagyerdei Stadium were turned to a single spot on the arena floor shortly after the countdown and the screening of a retrospective compilation of past yoUDay events. Spotlights were sweeping over bandmaster Gyula Bekker and his Marching Band as they began to play and march in the midst of the rows of the astounded audience. The thirty-member wind band, made up of students from various university faculties, then circled the arena before taking the stage.

Perhaps, it is one of the most uplifting moments of the annual university stadium show when international students crowd the stage carrying their national flags in the spirit of cohesion and togetherness. This time, smiling and affectionate young people from more than a hundred different countries filled the stage in the shape of the Latin number “X” to mark this year's anniversary, while singers from the Department of Vocal and Opera Studies at the Faculty of Music complemented the spectacle and the unique experience.
