Further measures will be introduced at the University of Debrecen as of Tuesday Nov2, to slow the spread of the corona virus. In addition to wearing masks and disinfecting hands, university staff are asked by the university leadership to hold their meetings online when possible.
In addition to mandatory mask wearing introduced earlier, the October 29 circular issued by the Rector and the Chancellor highlights the importance of hand sanitizer use on entrance into the university building. From Tuesday Nov 2 onward, students may be subjected to temperature taking on a case by case basis before entering the classrooms.
The university leadership ask the university’s staff to plan their important and urgent meetings online and organize immediate contact for in person format only in case of a smaller number of participants. For spaces with sports and entertainment as well as catering, the rules issued in an earlier circular are in effect.
