At the ceremony, the three most outstanding students (János Szekeres - Faculty of Humanities, Csaba Fazekas - Faculty of Informatics, Liliána Sitku - Faculty of Humanities) received the Chinese Ambassador Scholarship with a cash award.

Another seven winners, including students from the DE Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Informatics and the Faculty of Humanities, as well as two students from the DSZC, were awarded the Chinese Ambassador Award.

The DE Confucius Institute was established in the autumn of 2019 through cultural and educational cooperation between the university and Tianjin Foreign Language University to promote and promote Chinese language and culture. It offers, among others, Mandarin Chinese language courses at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.

The students who have now been awarded the prize have been learning Chinese language and culture for years as an optional language course in higher education and vocational training.
