New Medical Doctors Took the Hippocratic Oath

New medical doctors, Hungarian and foreign nationals as well, took the Hippocratic oath at the ceremonial council meeting of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Debrecen on Saturday. At the event, which was organised in line with the strict anti-epidemic measures, 67 medical doctors received their diplomas.
The fresh graduates are equipped with up-to-date knowledge that will enable them to meet the high expectations in their professional lives. During the COVID pandemic, they proved as volunteers that they deserve to become medical doctors not only because of their professional skills and expertise, but for their attitude as helpers as well – pointed out the dean of the Faculty of Medicine in his ceremonial speech.

László Mátyus highlighted that the fresh graduates had studied at one of the biggest and most prestigious medical faculties and universities in Hungary, which had been able to maintain its values in the field of medical education, while keeping an open mind for new ideas.
